CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Wooloo wears a curly, soft and springy fleece. It is said to cushion even a fall from a cliff, according to the Pokédex. Yet this protection can become a hindrance: if the hair grows too long, the Pokémon can no longer move. Humans also use its coat to weave surprisingly tough fabrics. Its wool therefore has several practical effects, from protecting its body to making cloth, while needing to be kept from growing too long.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Shield notes that Wooloo can become immobilized when its fleece grows too much. Yet that same wool produces very strong fabrics. Pokémon Sword also credits it with cushioning that supposedly protects Wooloo during a major fall.
