CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

In this wording, Crushing Hammer discards an Energy attached to an opposing Pokémon on heads after a coin flip. The target can be in the Active Spot or on the Bench. Removal concerns a single Energy card already in play without repositioning the Pokémon or discarding all Energy attached to it.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

Tails has no replacement effect in the text. On heads, the choice is not restricted to Basic Energy: a Special Energy attached to an opposing Pokémon can also be targeted.
