CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

To encounter Clefairy, the Pokédex account invites us to watch the mountains when the moon is full. Away from the bustle, its dances and the faint glow of its small wings form an almost unreal scene. Much of this discreet Pokémon's charm comes from this nocturnal appearance: a delicate presence that moonlight suddenly makes visible.

Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Ultra Moon explains that Clefairy can rise into the air without flapping its wings when bathed in moonlight. Its glowing wings are therefore more than decoration: they accompany a phenomenon described as unusual.
