The Pokémon’s story
Torterra carries a space on its back where small Pokémon can gather and build nests. Some are said to be born there and even spend their entire lives there. When it stays still, its body resembles a piece of landscape enough to shelter other beings. The Pokédex reports that people once imagined a gigantic Torterra living beneath the Earth's surface.
