CARDEX BACKGROUND
The Pokémon’s story
Infernape attacks with all four limbs, stringing together kicks and punches wrapped in flames. Its speed lets it send an opponent flying before they can follow the movement. The crown of fire atop its head signals its fiery temperament. The Pokédex presents a fighter that does not rely on a single attack: its strength comes from alternating strikes, movement and heat.
Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.A detail worth noticing
Pokémon Y emphasizes the use of all four limbs in Infernape's style. Pokémon Black mentions its flaming fists and feet, while Pokémon X connects its crown with its temperament. Its appearance thus hints at the pace of its battles.
