CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Lt. Surge's Bargain gives the opponent a choice: agree that each player may take a Prize card or refuse the proposal. On agreement, both sides advance by one Prize. On refusal, you draw four cards. The support thus turns an opposing decision into two different results without allowing its user alone to impose the preferred outcome.

A detail worth noticing

An opponent's refusal does not leave Lt. Surge's Bargain without an effect: it triggers your four-card draw. Agreement produces another outcome, shared between players this time, since each takes a Prize card.
