The Pokémon’s story

Tapu Lele is Akala's guardian. It draws energy from the fragrance of flowers and scatters glowing scales as it flies. The Pokédex says these can heal injured beings or bring smiles to those they touch. This protective reputation coexists with a temperament described as innocent and cruel. Residents consider it a guardian deity without that title erasing the possible dangers of an encounter.
