CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Plume Fossil examines the bottom seven cards of your deck for an Archen. You may reveal it and place it on your Bench; the other cards are then shuffled into the deck. The result depends on that seven-card section, with the named Pokémon entering directly rather than being recovered into your hand.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
The effect does not put Plume Fossil into play as a temporary Pokémon. It searches for Archen among the bottom cards and does not let you choose another species even if it is fossil-related.
