CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Tynamo travels with its own kind rather than relying on its individual power. Each has an organ capable of producing electricity, but a single discharge remains modest. When the school responds together to danger, their combined strength can become comparable to lightning. This collective defence changes how it should be viewed: a small Pokémon that seems unimpressive alone represents something quite different within the group. The Pokédex repeatedly returns to this difference in scale.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Black compares the electrical power of a school of Tynamo with lightning, while a lone individual produces little energy. Pokémon White explains that the group releases discharges when danger arises. The species’ strength here comes from coordination.
