Pokéball

CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Poké Ball begins with a coin flip. On heads, you search your deck for a Pokémon, show it to the opponent, and add it to your hand before shuffling. Chance therefore permits the search but does not choose the found card. On success, the player retains control over selection among Pokémon in the deck.

A detail worth noticing

This Poké Ball printing requires showing the recovered Pokémon to the opponent. The coin flip does not determine its identity, only the possibility of searching for it. The target enters the hand without being placed directly on the Bench.
