CARDEX BACKGROUND
Elekid produces electricity by rotating its arms but still struggles to retain it. It sometimes slips into houses to feed from electrical outlets. As a storm approaches, it becomes restless; thunder excites it even more. Its cries may then surprise passersby: in the wild, they resemble children's joyful voices, according to the observer in Legends: Arceus.
Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.Legends: Arceus warns that childlike voices heard outside during a thunderstorm may belong to Elekid. This auditory comparison accompanies another detail: it generates electricity by turning its arms, rather than depending solely on household outlets.
