The role of this Energy

Reversal Energy initially provides one Colorless Energy. Its major effect requires two conditions: having more Prize cards remaining than the opponent and attaching it to an Evolution Pokémon without a Rule Box. If both are met, it can provide any Energy type, up to three units at once. It thus helps an ordinary Evolution Pokémon respond to being behind in the game. A Pokémon ex or V, cited as a Rule Box example, does not receive this bonus even when its player is behind.
