Magma Energy can only be attached to a Pokémon with Team Magma in its name. It provides two Energy at a time in a combination of Fighting and Darkness, then must be discarded at the end of your turn. Its supply is therefore doubled but temporary, with a restriction on the holder's name and no effect beyond providing Energy.
