CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Martial Arts Dojo strengthens attacks by Pokémon that are not Ultra Beasts and have basic Fighting Energy attached. Damage against the opposing Active Pokémon increases by ten, or forty if the attacking player has more Prize cards remaining than the opponent. This addition applies before Weakness and Resistance. The Stadium concerns both players under the same holder and resource conditions.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
Martial Arts Dojo's forty-damage bonus replaces the ten-damage bonus when the attacking player has more Prize cards remaining. It is not added to it. The Pokémon must also have basic Fighting Energy attached and not be an Ultra Beast.

Printed card effect
Documented variants
