CARDEX BACKGROUND
Uxie bears the title Being of Knowledge. A tradition recounts that its appearance supposedly gave humans the wisdom needed to improve their lives and solve problems. Another story grants its gaze the power to erase memory. The Pokédex reports these accounts as beliefs, without presenting them as verified experiments. Uxie thus remains linked to two sides of the mind: acquiring knowledge and fearing its loss.
