CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Frozen City places two damage counters on a Pokémon when a player attaches Energy to it from their hand, unless that Pokémon belongs to Team Plasma. This Stadium affects both players and requires a particular Energy source. It does not simply inflict damage whenever the amount of Energy on the field changes.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

The exception concerns a Team Plasma Pokémon rather than Plasma Energy itself. Attachment from the hand is also an explicit requirement, distinct from an effect taking Energy directly from the deck or discard pile.
