CARDEX BACKGROUND
For Snorlax, the world seems to revolve around its next meal and the sleep that follows. Its rest is so peaceful that someone on its belly hardly seems to disturb it. This indifference gives it a reassuring, almost welcoming air. Yet stories of villages whose food supplies it devours are a reminder that its enormous appetite can disrupt life around it.
This account describes the species in the video games. It does not describe its Trainer’s history or that of this copy, and does not identify the depicted form or sex.Snorlax's diet goes beyond what many others could tolerate. Pokémon Shield describes a stomach that can handle mouldy or rotten food without being affected. Its appetite therefore also relies on remarkably resilient digestion.
Quoted source text is retained in the card’s printed language so this exact printing can be identified. The CarDex background above is translated into English.
