CARDEX BACKGROUND
Sinnoh’s myths place Dialga close to the very origin of time. It is said that its appearance set moments in motion, and that it can subsequently control their course. This image goes beyond that of a merely powerful Pokémon: it makes every second part of its story. When Sinnoh’s people speak of it as an ancient deity, they seek to give a face to what governs their entire lives.
Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.A Pokédex entry in Pokémon Black connects the passage of time with Dialga’s heartbeat. It presents this relationship as a belief, not a physical measurement. The detail gives Sinnoh’s Legendary Pokémon an almost audible presence: its inner rhythm is said to be the world’s rhythm too.
Quoted source text is retained in the card’s printed language so this exact printing can be identified. The CarDex background above is translated into English.
