CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Victory Cup flips a coin. On heads, you search your deck for a Pokémon, reveal it, and add it to your hand, then shuffle. The Item gives conditional access to a Pokémon search without requiring a type or evolution stage or directly placing the chosen card on your field.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
Chance decides whether the search opens, not which Pokémon to select from the deck. After heads, you choose an eligible Pokémon rather than randomly revealing cards until one appears.
