CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Tropical Wind flips a coin and affects both Active Pokémon. On heads, it removes two damage counters from each, or one if the Pokémon has only one. On tails, each Active Pokémon becomes Asleep. Both results concern both sides, providing either counter-based healing or an imposed Special Condition.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

The favorable result does not heal only your battler. Your opponent also benefits from counter removal on their Active Pokémon, while tails puts both Pokémon to Sleep rather than a single freely chosen one.
