CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Wicke makes each player count the cards in their hand, shuffle them into their deck, and draw the same number. Each player therefore retains their own hand size while replacing its contents. The Supporter does not make the two hands equal or set a shared size such as six or seven cards.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

Each player makes the count separately. A larger hand does not force the other hand to grow: each player draws exactly the number they personally counted before shuffling their hand into the deck.
