CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Light Ball increases the damage of the Pikachu ex holding it by fifty against your opponent's Active Pokémon if that target is a Pokémon ex. The bonus applies before Weakness and Resistance. The Tool combines a specific holder name with a specific target category and position rather than strengthening every attack by every Pokémon.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

Another Pokémon does not receive this bonus simply because it is Lightning type. The holder must be Pikachu ex, while the target must be an opposing Active Pokémon ex to qualify for the described boost.

Printed card effect
