CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Rhyhorn charges straight ahead with enough force to destroy whatever lies in its path. Its short legs make turning difficult, and its stubbornness sometimes keeps it running until exhaustion. The Pokédex credits it with limited memory: it may forget the very reason it started. This does not make impacts any less real; sometimes it feels their pain only the following day. Dealing with its power therefore chiefly requires anticipating its path.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Omega Ruby relates that Rhyhorn continues charging even into a block of steel, but feels the pain the following day. Pokémon Shield adds that it quickly forgets why it is running. The gap between its physical abilities and its perception makes its path unpredictable.
