The role of this Energy

Cyclone Energy provides Colorless Energy. When you attach it from your hand to your Active Pokémon, an opposing Defending Pokémon is switched with one of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. Your opponent chooses which Benched Pokémon replaces it. The Energy links attachment to your Active Pokémon with opposing movement without giving you the choice of new defender.
