CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Diggersby handles its large ears like construction tools. They lift very heavy stones and pierce even the toughest blocks, explaining why it is sometimes entrusted with tunnel drilling. After exertion, it enjoys resting motionlessly. The Pokédex also says its shed fur was once used to make warm clothing thanks to the insulating qualities of its belly fur. Its body therefore provides help in several ways.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon X credits Diggersby's ears with the strength to lift a one-ton rock. Pokémon Shield mentions an old use of its shed fur for warm clothing. Its ears and coat have thus interested humans for very different reasons.
