CARDEX BACKGROUND
Espathra's large eyes emit psychic power capable of immobilizing an opponent. Energy also escapes from the gaps between its multicolored frills. Despite its elegant appearance, the Pokédex gives it a fierce temperament. It can also run at over 120 miles per hour, or around 193 kilometers per hour. Its colors and gaze attract attention but accompany a combination of speed and psychic strength an enemy should not underestimate.
Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.Pokémon Scarlet describes Espathra's gaze as powerful enough to immobilize an opponent. Pokémon Violet locates another psychic emission between its colored frills and credits it with running at over 120 miles per hour.
