CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Pokémon Trader exchanges a Basic Pokémon or Evolution card from your hand for a Basic Pokémon or Evolution from your deck. Both cards are shown to the opponent, then the deck is shuffled. The effect converts an available Pokémon resource into another without requiring their stages to be identical.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

The offered Pokémon comes from your hand rather than the field. The exchange cannot retrieve a Pokémon in play with its attached cards; it operates between a hand card and a deck card.
