CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Repel sends your opponent's Active Pokémon to the Bench and lets them choose their new Active Pokémon. The Item imposes movement but not a specific target to bring forward. It does not simultaneously switch your own battler or remove cards attached to the Pokémon involved in the change.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

Your opponent retains the decision over their Active replacement. Repel should therefore not be presented as freely selecting the weakest opposing Benched target: it forces a change chosen by the other player.
