CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Opal lets two coin flips determine the scope of a deck search. Each heads permits one additional card, up to two. Chosen cards enter the hand before the deck is shuffled. Chance therefore determines how many resources are accessible, while selection remains with the player without a category restriction written into the effect.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
With Opal, two heads allow searching for up to two cards; one heads limits the search to one. The result never identifies which cards to take: it sets only the maximum the player may choose.
