CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Adversity Policy draws three cards if its holder is Active, has Weakness to the opponent's Active Pokémon's type, and takes damage from an opposing attack. The holder being Knocked Out does not prevent the trigger. The Tool rewards an incoming attack in a defined Weakness situation without removing the damage just dealt.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
The Weakness comparison uses the opponent's Active Pokémon's type. Simply being injured is insufficient: the holder must also occupy the Active Spot and meet that Weakness condition to trigger the draw.
