CARDEX BACKGROUND
Roserade attracts prey with the fragrance of its flowers, then attacks with thorn-covered whips. Its two hands do not administer the same poison: one acts slowly, while the other strikes much faster. Its elegant movements can therefore conceal a dangerous hunt. The Pokédex emphasizes this gap between the pleasant scent, dancerlike appearance and toxins hidden in its arms. Approaching the flowers is not without risk.
Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.Pokémon Shield distinguishes Roserade's two poisons: the left hand's acts slowly, while the right hand's is fast. Pokémon Sword describes its fragrance as a way to unsettle an opponent. Its flowers therefore also help prepare an asymmetrical attack.
