CARDEX BACKGROUND
About this Pokémon form
After fleeing a volcanic eruption, Sandshrew found refuge in Alola's snowy mountains. Its regional form wears an icy shell with steel-like hardness. This protection comes with a constraint, however: its body has become too rigid to curl into a ball. The small snow Pokémon has therefore lost this familiar action of the species.
Background on this form in the video games; this card’s attacks, edition and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
Alolan festivities preserve an old competition involving Sandshrew. Participants slide it over ice, trying to send it as far as possible. The Pokédex presents this game as a local tradition still practiced.
