CARDEX BACKGROUND
The Pokémon’s story
Iron Crown resembles a mysterious object that a paranormal magazine presented as an advanced weapon shaped like Cobalion. Another account attributes a spectacular incident to it: luminous blades supposedly erupted and sliced everything around it. The Pokédex retains reservations about this episode and acknowledges how little is known about the creature. Its appearance recalls a weapon described in a publication, but that description does not establish its true origin.
Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.A detail worth noticing
Pokémon Violet uses conditional wording for the shining-blade episode and emphasizes the lack of information about Iron Crown. Pokémon Scarlet reports only its resemblance to a Cobalion-shaped weapon shown in a paranormal magazine.
