The Pokémon’s story

Suicune crosses plains and shores, following the north wind, it is said. It stops where water is polluted and has the power to purify it. Pokédex entries compare it with a clear spring, whose tranquillity it embodies. One tradition even presents it as the reincarnation of the wind from the north. Its travels thus connect two elements that travellers recognise but cannot hold onto: passing air and water regaining its clarity.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Y presents as a belief the idea that Suicune is the north wind reincarnated. The same entry credits it with instantly purifying polluted water. Pokémon Omega Ruby compares it with the peace of a pure-water spring.
