CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Full Face Guard reduces damage from opposing attacks to its holder by twenty if that Pokémon has no Ability. The reduction applies after Weakness and Resistance. The Tool ties its protection to the holder's lack of an Ability rather than a particular attacker category or the presence of a specified Energy.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
The condition does not merely require the Ability to have gone unused this turn. The text requires a Pokémon without an Ability, and the stated protection remains a reduction in opposing attack damage.
