CARDEX BACKGROUND
Victini possesses energy that seems never to run out. People and Pokémon that touch its body can receive some of it. This ability accompanies an extraordinary reputation: Trainers who have it at their side are said to always win, whatever the battle. The Pokédex reports this belief without describing a particular victory. Between energy passed on through touch and the promise of success, Victini appears as a companion credited with exceptional power in these accounts.
Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.Victini's energy seems inexhaustible, and those who touch its body can receive some of it. Pokémon White and Pokémon Y describe this transfer through contact. This detail helps explain its reputation as a bringer of good fortune: according to these entries, its presence can strengthen a companion through a simple touch.
