Ludicolo can hardly stay still when cheerful music plays. Its cells respond to the rhythm, its body starts dancing and its strength increases, even in the middle of a battle. Stories say it appears upon hearing children sing during a hike. The Pokédex thus links its fondness for celebration with a precise physical effect. For this Pokémon, dance is more than a mood: it transforms the way it acts.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Alpha Sapphire describes Ludicolo's cells becoming active when it hears lively music. Pokémon Omega Ruby reports that it supposedly sometimes follows the singing of children out walking. A sound heard from afar can therefore trigger both its movement and its dance.
