CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Rika looks at the top four cards of your deck and lets you put two into your hand. The others are shuffled together and placed on the bottom of the deck. You can therefore select immediately useful resources while moving the unchosen cards away. The effect does not discard them or necessarily shuffle the entire deck: it specifically handles the cards examined.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
With Rika, unchosen cards go to the bottom of the deck after being shuffled together. They do not return to the top or enter the discard pile. You keep two of the four cards you have just examined.
