CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Serena offers two options, of which you choose only one. You can discard between one and three cards from your hand to draw until you have five. Alternatively, you can switch an opposing Benched Pokémon V with the opponent's Active Pokémon. This Supporter therefore meets a need for fresh cards or a different target, without allowing both actions in a single use.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
Serena's first option requires at least one discarded card, even though the stated maximum is three. Her second option specifically targets a Pokémon V on the opponent's Bench. Choosing one option does not then give you access to the other.
