CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Energy Switch moves a basic Energy already attached to one of your Pokémon to another of yours. Nothing is created or searched for in the deck: a resource already in play simply changes its bearer. The player can redirect their preparations toward a Pokémon that needs that Energy more at the chosen moment. The effect depends on an available basic card and does not mention Special Energy, which remains outside this transfer.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
The text requires two Pokémon on your side: one gives up a basic Energy and the other receives it. It takes no cards from the discard pile. This limit distinguishes Energy Switch from recovering lost resources.
