Énergie Feu

CARDEX BACKGROUND

The role of this Energy

A basic Fire Energy is a resource for attacks that require the Fire symbol. During a turn, attaching it is a choice: this ordinary action is possible only once, even if the player has several Energy cards in hand. The Sun & Moon—Ultra Prism rulebook describes Fire Pokémon’s attacks as powerful and sometimes capable of burning an opponent, but not always easy to repeat. Fire therefore appears in the rhythm of battle as much as in the card’s image.

A detail worth noticing

The Fire Energy card does not make an opposing Pokémon Burned through its mere presence. In the official rulebook, burning is mentioned as a possibility for certain Fire Pokémon attacks. The text of the particular attack determines whether this effect actually occurs.
