CARDEX BACKGROUND

The story behind this Trainer card

Ciphermaniac's Codebreaking searches your deck for two cards, then requires shuffling the deck before placing those cards on top in your chosen order. The resources therefore do not immediately enter your hand. You prepare the next cards available at the top of the deck and control their sequence, while retaining a step between this preparation and their possible use.

Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

The order of operations in Ciphermaniac's Codebreaking matters: shuffling happens before the two chosen cards are placed on top. They are therefore not scattered by that shuffle. You then decide which one will sit above the other.
