CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Inteleon conceals several ways of acting behind its discreet appearance. It fires water jets from its fingertips and can glide using membranes on its back. In battle, its nictitating membrane helps it locate its target’s weak point. It then fires a water jet fast enough to reach Mach 3, according to the Pokédex. Its weapons thus rely on observation and precision as much as speed, while its membranes give it another way to move.

Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.

A detail worth noticing

Inteleon’s nictitating membrane helps it find a weak point before firing. Pokémon Shield gives its water jets a speed of Mach 3. Pokémon Sword also credits it with back membranes that let it glide: its adaptations therefore serve both aiming and movement.
