CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Zygarde watches over the balance of Kalos’s ecosystem. Accounts place it deep in a cave, from which it is said to observe those who destroy their environment. When this balance is threatened, it appears and unleashes a power that remains poorly understood. The Pokédex mentions several ways in which its Cells assemble, but its mission stays the same. Its story is less about a fixed dwelling than its watchfulness over the life around it.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Moon presents the existence of great hidden power in Zygarde as a rumour. Pokémon Ultra Moon describes a more powerful form facing an enemy that threatens the ecosystem. These entries connect its transformations with the severity of the danger it monitors.
