CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Unfezant controls its flight with great precision. Females have better endurance, while males can reach greater speed and wear head ornaments for intimidation. Very wary, it mainly bonds with its own Trainer. The Pokédex also emphasizes its intelligence and pride. These individual differences do not erase their shared trait: in the air and around humans, Unfezant keeps a certain distance.

A detail worth noticing

Pokémon Sword distinguishes female Unfezant's endurance from males' speed. Pokémon White notes that they struggle to bond with people other than their Trainer. The male's described head ornament should therefore not be treated as a feature of every card.
