CARDEX BACKGROUND

The role of this Energy

Wonder Energy attaches only to a Fairy Pokémon, provides Fairy Energy, and is discarded from another type. It prevents opposing attack effects applied to its holder, except damage, without removing existing effects. The card protects against certain future attack consequences while maintaining a strict type restriction on the equipped Pokémon.

Background on this Special Energy’s effect; the printed text, edition and finish of each card remain distinct.

A detail worth noticing

The effect does not make its holder immune to damage. Existing effects are not erased either; protection applies to new attack effects and does not allow the card to stay on a non-Fairy Pokémon.
