CARDEX BACKGROUND
The story behind this Trainer card
Lysandre switches an opposing Benched Pokémon with the opponent's Active Pokémon. The Supporter changes the target facing your combatant without moving your own team. The choice concerns a Pokémon already staying back on the opposing side. No particular type or stage is required, and the text does not make this switch depend on a coin flip.
Background on this Trainer card’s printed effect; its edition, language and finish remain distinct.A detail worth noticing
Lysandre does not remove the opponent's Active Pokémon from play: he swaps its position with a Benched Pokémon. The new combatant must therefore come from that Bench. No deck search or recovery from the discard pile accompanies this movement.
