The Pokémon’s story
Bombirdier makes a kind of apron from its chest feathers and shed feathers. It uses this to gather food and bring it back to the nest. The same fold can hold other objects it enjoys dropping from great heights, especially those that make loud noises when they land. The Pokédex thus brings a useful task and noisy play together in the same gesture: carrying something beneath itself in flight.
