イルミーゼ

CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Illumise releases a sweet scent that attracts Volbeat. Once the group gathers, it guides their lights through the night sky, making them draw geometric figures. The Pokédex entries therefore give it a directing role in a display it does not produce alone. They also report that its peers supposedly esteem individuals able to compose the most complex patterns more highly. Its fragrance starts the gathering; its sense of movement shapes what follows.

A detail worth noticing

Omega Ruby explains that Illumise attracts Volbeat through scent before leading their luminous formations. Alpha Sapphire reports a more surprising social rule: the most complex compositions in the sky supposedly bring greater respect among its peers.
