CARDEX BACKGROUND

The Pokémon’s story

Clawitzer's right claw works like a cannon. Antennae on this enormous claw help it locate a target before firing water shells. The jet can be powerful enough to sink a tanker. Yet the Pokédex records another trait unrelated to firing: the claw's flesh is very firm. Fallen claws are even sold abroad as cooking ingredients.

Background on the species in the video games; its forms and card versions may have appeared later.

A detail worth noticing

Clawitzer's claw antennae locate enemies before firing, according to Pokémon Sword. Pokémon Shield compares its water shells' power with that needed to sink a tanker. Ultra Moon mentions fallen claws being sold as food.
